The pressures faced by service members can lead to internal battles that don’t show on the outside—struggles that affect their relationships, mental health, and sense of purpose. Unfortunately, these silent battles deteriorate homes, teams, and lives.
The statistics are staggering - over the course of 14 years, from Iraq to the Afghanistan war, approximately 7,000 service members were killed in action. During that same period, more than 73,000 service members and veterans took their own lives.
